We are pleased to announce the release of SharedHR Central 8.1! Outlined below is important information regarding updates to SharedHR Central’s features, which reflect our commitment to providing current tools, information and resources to assist our clients in managing their HR function. These enhancements are not applicable to our Toolkit subscribers, but we wanted to let you know how the SharedHR technology is being enhanced should you decide to upgrade your capabilities from those offered by the Toolkit.
This notification is intended for SharedHR Administrators, Super Managers, and business owners. Please forward this communication to anyone else in your organization that may be interested. The following topics are covered:
· Electronic Signature for Employee Handbook
· New Automatic Notifications and To Do List Item
Electronic Signature for Employee Handbook Acceptance
Electronic signature for Employee Handbook acceptance is a new feature which allows employees to accept the handbook which has been released on SharedHR Central for their Document Group.
If this feature is enabled, you will see a new manager report: Employee Handbook Acceptance Status. This report shows managers and administrators which employees have not yet electronically accepted their Employee Handbook. Additionally, if this feature and Automatic Notifications are both on, you will see a new item in the Event Log report for employees who have not yet electronically accepted their Employee Handbook.
New Automatic Notifications and To Do List Item
This release also includes the addition of two new Automatic Notifications related to the employee handbook. The first, Updated Employee Handbook, will send an email to all relevant employees when a new handbook is released. The second, Handbook Acknowledgement, will send a reminder to employees who have not yet electronically accepted their current Employee Handbook. The Handbook Acknowledgement notification will also trigger a To Do List item for that employee.
If you need assistance with any of SharedHR Central’s newest features, please contact Client Services and we would be happy to help. From all of us at SharedHR, thank you for choosing our technology to support your business needs.
